About Us

Hi, my name is John and I'm the President and sole owner of Atex Freight Broker Training, Inc. and a certified public accountant by profession. I've got a good number of years’ experience in working with small business start-ups including preparing detailed, step-by-steps procedures for organizing and running a small business.

Prior to starting my own freight broker business, I spent nearly four months researching the industry. I met face-to-face with about 20 freight brokers and a smaller number of shippers and truck drivers.

The information that I gathered formed the basis for my written business plan that I used to get a line of credit from the bank.

My training programs have been so successful that I no longer do freight brokering and I now work full time on training others. I am now going on my fifth year of training via the telephone and Internet with my nuts & bolts Freight Broker and Broker Agent Training Programs. These programs are for individuals who want to either work as fully self-employed freight brokers or as a broker agent.

I spend many hours either on the Internet or telephone seeking new and relevant information from truckers, brokers, shippers and other industry sources.

Over time, I will be rolling out several new programs and services to not only better serve you but to offer opportunities that cannot be obtained anywhere else.
